Take Time To Do What Makes Your Soul Happy - Lisa C

Life can get really busy. There are always things to do—work, school, taking care of family, and other responsibilities. But in the middle of all that, it’s important to take time for yourself. Doing what makes your soul happy isn’t just a luxury—it’s something you need to live a joyful and balanced life.

Why Is It Important?

When you do things that bring you joy, you feel lighter, more peaceful, and more energized. It helps reduce stress, improves your mood, and even makes you healthier. If you ignore what makes you happy for too long, you might start to feel tired, overwhelmed, or even lost.

What Makes Your Soul Happy?

Everyone is different. What makes one person happy might not work for someone else. Here are some ideas:

🌻 Spending time in nature – Walking in a park, sitting by the ocean, or hiking in the mountains can refresh your mind and body.

🎨 Creative activities – Painting, writing, singing, or dancing can help express your emotions and bring you joy.

🧘🏻 Quiet moments – Meditation, deep breathing, or simply enjoying a cup of tea in silence can bring peace.

🫶 Connecting with loved ones – Talking with a friend, laughing with family, or even playing with a pet can fill your heart with happiness.

☺️ Helping others – Acts of kindness, like volunteering or helping a friend, can give you a deep sense of purpose.

How to Make Time for Happiness

Sometimes, it feels like there’s no time for the things that bring joy. But the truth is, you have to make time.

~ Schedule it – Put it on your calendar like an important meeting.

~ Start small – Even five minutes of doing something you love can make a difference.

~ Say no when needed…don’t feel guilty about setting boundaries and making time for yourself.

Taking time to do what makes your soul happy isn’t selfish—it’s necessary. When you feel good inside, you show up as a better version of yourself in all areas of life.

So…what will you do today to bring joy to your soul?

Let yourself be happy…You deserve it!!!
